Director of Clinical Services " PHP Adult Program

Carrollton Springs is a 78-bed behavioral hospital located near Dallas in Carrollton, TX. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. Position Details:

Responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance abuse issues in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Director assures that high quality clinical care is provided and that clinical functions are integrated. Director supervises individual and group counseling and develops and implements a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes. Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post hospital transition. Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Masters degree from an accredited school of social work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues.

Experience: Previous experience in inpatient healthcare required. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.

License: Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
