Job Duties and Responsibilities

MAP Pharmacy Consultant job responsibilities include:

  • As necessary, travel to various healthcare facilities
  • Educate others in medicine safety, administration & documentation
  • Help with bringing on new clients
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Help resolve client issues and make referrals as needed
  • Take part in company provided educational programs
  • When needed, confer with medical professionals regarding medication

Qualifications

MAP Pharmacy Consultant required skills & qualifications include:

  • Current state Pharmacist license/registration
  • Familiar with state and federal pharmacy rules and regulations
  • Must be MAP certified or able to obtain certifications
  • Must be able to travel to other facilities in the state
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organization skills
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and current state driver's license
  • 2+ years experience in a long-term care facility preferred but not required
