Job Duties and Responsibilities
Entry Level Pharmacist job responsibilities include:
- Precisely follow prescription requests to prepare, package and label medicine
- Ensure patients know how to use prescribed medications
- Keep an accurate and detailed record of all medicine, and other supplies
- Must be able to electronically record and process prescriptions, and track dosages
- Monitor patient profiles and DUR as needed
- Prescription data-entry
Qualifications
Entry Level Pharmacist required skills & qualifications include:
- Degree from an accredited Pharmacy college
- Up-to-date state license
- Able to dispense immunizations
- Extended-care abilities
- Knowledgeable of all state and federal rules and regulations
