This position offers 3(10's), which would allow a newcomer four days off to do per diem or relief work elsewhere. However, this hire will be next in line for full time work. The position pays incredibly well, pretty much better than almost all of the other area players. The benefits are similar to big city hospitals with lots of special perks.
Requirements: Must be CA licensed. This special opportunity is not so concerned with hospital experience. But no retail-only candidates, please. We would look at sensational residency candidates. Some recently hired candidates have offered special backgrounds including current work with geriatrics in a hospital-like living facility. Others have had lots of experience with special populations or disease states. The team is diverse in a clinical sense, and the hiring manager tends to be very responsive to those with a special skill, such as a Certified Diabetes Educator or anticoagulation specialist, or maybe a pediatric or oncology pharmacist. This role is open due to expansion and duties and responsibilities fall within the team according to the team members’ skills and preferences. Generalist pharmacists are of course more than welcome to apply.
